Should I wear a GI?: Gi/Kimono is optional. We train both ways but it is not required to wear one.
Do i need headgear?: Optional also. Most do not, but there is someone here who wears it.
What is BJJ?: Simply put, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is submission grappling.
Is it effective?: Research Royce Gracie in the UFC.
